The Springfield, 1911 DS Prodigy 4.25" AOS Handgun is a semi-automatic firearm featuring a metal frame and a 4.25" forged stainless steel match grade barrel. The frame is constructed from forged carbon steel with a black Cerakote finish, and it is equipped with polymer grips. This model is optics ready and includes both a fiber optic front sight and a black serrated rear sight. It comes with two magazines: one with a capacity of 17 rounds and another with a capacity of 20 rounds.
